Diarmuid GG Photography

Since picking up an dlr and dslr camera in 2011, my journey as an artist has been one of passion, creativity, imagination and discovery.

As of April 2024 I set up as a Sole trader Photographer, always keen to take on new clients, take new photos, capture new moments, and work to resolve their issues on SEO marketing with socials.

Before setting up professionally I had volunteered any time freely for friends, businesses and charities as a hobby photographer (but was in most cases treated as a professional)

In 2011 to 2019 for my dear friend Wayne Courtney I helped document his events in Roath, raising money for the stroke ward in Heath Hospital and the renovation of Saint Andrews United Reformed Church in Cardiff (among other charities).

Since then, during the past 15 plus years I have photographed over 200,000 moments, over 1000 musicians and bands 50 exhibitions & events, 15 ceremonies, 4000 models and worked with too many businesses to count. I have worked with to some extent Sony Music, BBC, charities and numerous businesses in Cardiff and the surrounding areas of South Wales.

I’m keen on experimental photography, Band photography, landscapes and product/commodity photography.

I’m not good at uploading photos as I usually used to do. I’m looking to change that and forge a new path for myself and my business.

My photography business has no fixed address, as it is a service area business that also does remote work with local businesses. I would love to get to a point in future, where I can have my own studio (of course).

My values are achieving creative outcomes responsibly, follow clients needs and solve any issues they have (such as increase in footfall or establish new follower reach and attain social media monetization) with the goal of high value alternatives and varied approaches. The kr & affinity to my photography, is to work towards cultural resiliencies and an environmentally friendly approach.

Communication in the art form of Photography & mixed-media, is a move I aim towards retaining in future and consider utilisation of multitudes in other media towards market growth, culture and societal resilience (beyond the point of investment).
